Dr. Pratik Shah as a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon is setting new benchmarks of excellence with more than 15 years’ experience in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology.

He has completed his MDS in the department of oral and maxillofacial Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka in the year 2013. Post MDS, he sharpened surgical skills at Calcutta Institute of Maxillofacial Surgery and Research Center under renowned Dr. Srijon Mukherjee (FDSRCS & FIBOMS). In the year 2024, he obtained TMJ arthroscopy training from USA. He is one of the very few surgeons to treat TMJ disorders patients minimally invasively.

He has 11 scientific papers in various national and international journals on his name. He is maintaining exclusive Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice since 2014 and treating minor dentoalveolar procedures, basic & advanced dental implantology which includes zygomatic & customised implants, oral submucous fibrosis, pathology till extensive complex maxillofacial trauma. He is known for the extreme involvement in the subject, dedication, punctuality, & meticulous care of the patient.

During Covid – 19 pandemic, Dr Pratik & his team performed many life saving surgeries for patients suffering from Black Fungus ( Mucormycosis ) and most of the patients were eventually rehabilitated with Customised patient specific 3D implants, free fibula graft, obturators and Zygomatic implants to deliver highest level of aesthetic and functional outcome leading to Normalcy. Dr Pratik is one of the pioneers in Gujarat to perform orbital trauma surgeries via exttemely unique concealed scarless Transconjuctival approach and numerous national and international papers published on the same and contributed significantly to teach young surgeons via live surgical and cadaveric workshops. Due to wide range of surgical expertise he is able to rehabilitate No bone cases via All on four, Zygomatic / Pterigoid implants and customised subperiosteal patient specific implants using 3D printing technology.
